CONTROL Resonant is available to pre-order ahead of its 24 September 2026 digital launch. This page consolidates editions, prices, bonuses, the PS5 early-access window, and the later physical street date so you do not mix storefront marketing with wishful leaks. Xbox Play Anywhere is supported for the Xbox / PC ecosystem. The campaign is single-player only — editions do not unlock multiplayer SKUs because none exist.

Standard Edition — $59.99

The Standard digital edition is the base game at $59.99. Pre-ordering Standard (digital) includes:

On PS5, Standard pre-orders also add the Occult Outfit as a platform extra. That PS5-only cosmetic stack is easy to miss in cross-store comparisons — read the PlayStation product page carefully if outfits matter to you.

Standard is enough if you want Dylan’s story, the Aberrant melee RPG loop, and post-launch patches without artbook or soundtrack bundles. Combat and traversal literacy still come from play, not from Deluxe SKUs — start with Getting Started after you buy.

Digital Deluxe — $69.99

Digital Deluxe is $69.99 and adds:

• Untapped Artifact (Wallet)

Plus the shared digital pre-order cosmetics: Hiss Corruption Outfit and Pickpocket’s Tool Artifact, with the Occult Outfit still listed as the PS5 pre-order extra where applicable.

PS5-only early access

Digital Deluxe on PlayStation 5 uniquely includes 48-hour early access beginning 22 September 2026 at 14:00 UTC. That window is the clearest practical reason to choose PS5 Deluxe over other Deluxe storefronts if you care about playing before the worldwide digital day. Xbox and PC Deluxe buyers still launch with everyone else on 24 September 2026 unless a storefront announces otherwise — this wiki will not invent parallel early-access claims.

Use early access for bind setup (controls), Aberrant identity tests (combat), and a first Resonant decision (Resonants), not for rushing spoilers into social feeds if you share a household save.

SteelBook package — $69.99

The SteelBook offer is $69.99 and focuses on physical presentation:

Align expectations: physical gameplay discs follow the 15 October 2026 street date even though digital owners are already mid-campaign. If you want both early digital play and a shelf object, plan a digital purchase plus a collectible product — do not assume every SteelBook SKU includes a day-one digital code unless your retailer explicitly says so. Always read the SKU fine print; Remedy’s marketing distinguishes digital Deluxe bonuses from SteelBook cosmetics/print items.

Artifacts sound mechanical because they are. The Pickpocket’s Tool and Untapped (Wallet) items feed the same Artifact system you will theorycraft on the builds page. They are not “pay to win raids” — Resonant has no multiplayer raids — but they do shade early loadouts. Cosmetics (Hiss Corruption, AWE Mission, Occult) are identity flex for Manhattan screenshots.

Platform buying notes

• PC — Steam app 3669870 or Epic. Check the system requirements before Deluxe impulse buys on an under-spec laptop. Install footprint ~120GB SSD.
• Xbox Series X|S — digital day with Play Anywhere convenience; discs later.
• PS5 — only storefront with the published Deluxe early-access clock.
• Mac — later in 2026; do not pre-order a September Mac fantasy that Remedy has not dated to the day.

What pre-orders do not change

• Story length estimates (~30h core / ~50h completionist) stay the same across editions.
• Traversal remains story-gated; Deluxe does not unlock Reach early.
• NG+ rules (carry upgrades/abilities/talents/artifacts/health; not traversal; 4th Artifact slot) are game systems, not SKU perks.
• You still pick one Resonant branch per boss on a first run.

A simple decision tree

1. Want the soundtrack, artbook, Wallet artifact, AWE outfit, and starter bundle? → Digital Deluxe.
2. On PS5 and want to play 22 September? → PS5 Digital Deluxe specifically.
3. Want the cheapest path into Dylan’s campaign? → Standard digital, still grab pre-order cosmetics if you buy before launch.
4. Want shelf presence? → evaluate SteelBook, remembering the 15 October disc date.
5. Unsure about GPU headroom? → read PC specs and platforms before spending the extra $10.
